Missions Conference

Hey all! The Missions conference was so amazing! It was my first time being there. What a beautiful location! It seemed like the perfect place for refreshment and renewal for those on the front lines.
For me the theme of the conference was keep your focus on the LORD not the situation, with much encouragement to stay in the Word and quiet time with the LORD.
I got to meet Jacob , Noelle and baby Grace, who have become so dear to us as they were in language training with the P3. I also had the honor and great pleasure of meeting and spending time with Ruth, a dear sister who also is in Kenya ministering to the needs of women and children there. We have been praying for her for a long time so it was fun to finally meet!
It was so cool to be on that big campus and see so many people in prayer. Spontaneous prayer. IT was really glorious! I know we see that a lot at Shoreline, this was just on a larger scale!
I had a great time hanging out with different members of the Shoreline team. Trista, Tobi and I were roomies and had lots of fun! I even picked up a few Trista mannerisms! :D
We also had great food, the previous participants from our team knew some fun places to eat. We had 'Pazookie' (sp?) twice! yep we lived up to the calorie chapel reputation!
All kidding aside it was a wonderful and powerful time with the LORD and seeing what HE is doing all over the world and in each of our lives.
God bless you all! And thank you for your example of obedience.
